ISYS-ON Kft. is one of the most successful companies in Hungary developing and selling resource management systems. In this article we present their activities, how they use tracking to organize internal processes and what unique developments they added to the IneTrack system in order to boost business operation planning by providing even more data.

ISYS-ON Kft. has implemented ERP systems numerous times since it was founded in 1993. Their complex product range meets every need and they are uniquely experienced in project management and implementing resource management solutions. ISYS-ON Kft. has been the exclusive distributor of the QAD Enterprise Applications resource management system for over 20 years, which can cover all the material and financial processes of a given company in an integrated way while also enabling users to control, measure and manage these processes, thus improving the efficiency of business processes and reducing risk. The technology varies according to the specific industry because the needs of a food production company is different from those of a pharmaceutical manufacturer. ISYS-ON Kft. provides comprehensive IT solutions for all these needs.

How and for what does a software development company use tracking?

ISYS-ON Kft. with its 77 strong team is working on several enterprise-level projects at the same time. Their experts and sales representatives regularly negotiate with clients in Hungary and abroad. Their company cars are in constant use. Their vehicles have been equipped with tracking devices and driver identification key readers since 2014. The cars are not assigned to a specific employee. The sales reps visiting clients and the experts must book a vehicle in advance, which they can then start by using their unique driver ID key. The driver ID feature and the key makes administration significantly easier with such a “pool” system, since the data on the drivers’ identity and the mileage is automatically saved.

“By connecting the IneTrack tracking system and ISYS-ON’s resource management system, we were finally able to realize what we had been striving for: accurate measuring. System integration makes it possible for employees to conduct administrative tasks related to their work in our own system. They assign the routes recorded by IneTrack to worksheets, which are then enclosed to the current project. This was every trip made by a company car is classifiable and accountable,” says Enikő Vadas internal process coordinator. Property protection and personal safety are equally important. It is easier to find a colleague in trouble if the map can show the exact location where the accident happened or the car broke down on the motorway.

Zoltán Horváth entrepreneurial director prioritizes quick decision-making and increasingly automated support besides accurate accounting. He presented their QlikView controlling platform, which immediately provides a clear picture of the status of the company fleet on a graph. The mileage report shows which car recorded the highest mileage, which driver drove the longest distances as well as the percentage distribution of car use among the employees.

For each given time period there is data on the number of trips that have not been invoiced yet, the ratio of business and personal trips, the intensity of use of the vehicles and whether they have reached amortization level. It is visually displayed which areas are the most often visited by sales people and consultants, which provide an accurate overview of the most visited clients for a given date range.

We must admit that ISYS-ON Kft. is a client of ours from whom we have also learned a lot. We wanted to make fast, data-driven business decisions and thanks to their developments, the data recorded and collected by the IneTrack tracking system can easily be analysed after importing it into their own system. Routine decisions and tasks like replacing a car or invoicing have become less of a hassle than if we had to spend a lot of time on them going over complicated spreadsheets. We are satisfied by this cooperation and it gives us pleasure to see that we have partners who operate as an intelligent business and think of IneTrack as a building block.
